On the Road to Revival: FOFMI’s Eventful Journey to Holy Convocation

"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."
–  Psalm 121:8

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
–  Galatians 6:9

A thrilling adventure unfolded as Foundations of Faith Missions International (FOFMI) embarked on a journey to Middle Georgia, for the much-anticipated Holy Convocation.
Led by the dedicated Apostle Dr. Hoffman, the missions team set out to join Apostle Dr. Watkins for a transformative spiritual gathering. However, their trip turned out to be more than just a physical journey; it became a testament to faith, resilience, and the power of community. The convoy had barely left when the driver made a sudden stop, narrowly avoiding a collision in heavy traffic. The incident led to an alarming discovery: the wire in one of the back tires was exposed. This potentially perilous situation prompted an immediate detour to a tire shop.
Upon inspection, it was revealed that not one but two tires were in dire condition. The team quickly replaced both tires, grateful for the minor incident that likely averted a major disaster. With renewed peace of mind, the team hit the road once again. Their next stops in Milton and Dothan were not just about rest and recuperation. Instead, the FOFMI team seized these opportunities to spread the word about their inspiring Humanity Project. The community response was overwhelmingly positive, with many locals showing their support for the initiative. This enthusiastic reception underscored the widespread impact and resonance of FOFMI's mission.
After a night of rest, the team resumed their journey, spirits high and hearts full of anticipation. The bus was filled with the sounds of prayer, praise, and heartfelt testimonies of God’s goodness. The experiences on this trip, from the sudden tire trouble to the warm community interactions, highlighted the unpredictable yet profoundly rewarding nature of mission work.
As they finally arrived in Middle Georgia, the team was ready to participate in the Holy Convocation, filled with renewed faith and gratitude for the journey that brought them there. As they joined the church on Friday morning for their 11 a.m. service the saints watched God move mightily in the service. Then later on that night Apostle Hoffman brought the word with a message entitled "How to Receive the Anointing of Promise" and brought the house down by God's grace. The saints were thoroughly blessed and had a shouting good time! Then on Saturday, the team joined Minister Johnson for an awesome tour of a ranch that sits on a beautiful 53 acres of land. They also host a youth camp that focuses on teaching the gospel to young people ranging from ages 12-18. It was a blessing to see all that she is doing and the saints had a blast! Overall, the Holy Convocation proved to be a transformative experience for all who attended. As the team returned home, their hearts were full, their spirits were uplifted, and their commitment to the mission and spreading God's love and message was stronger than ever. This adventure was a powerful reminder of the importance of vigilance, the strength found in community, and the unwavering faith that guides FOFMI in all its endeavors
