“To the Least of These”: Bread, Blessings, and Benevolence
FOFMI Humanity Project and Interfaith University Deliver with Purpose
“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.” – Matthew 25:40 (KJV)
Once again, Interfaith University and the FOFMI Humanity Project have joined forces to serve with purpose and compassion. Under the warmth of a beautiful blue sky, the two organizations recently carried out a heartfelt mission to distribute free bread, fresh fruit, and bottled water to individuals and families in need within the local community.
Though the setting was simple, the impact was profound.
Without the fanfare of major announcements or large crowds, this outreach served as a quiet powerful reminder of what it truly means to care for one another. It was an act driven not by obligation, but by conviction—a reflection of the shared belief that love is best expressed through action.
From the first item given to the last prayer spoken, the event echoed the powerful words of Matthew 25:40 (KJV).
Those who came to receive help responded with heartfelt gratitude:
-“Thank you all so much for what you do in the community.”
-“God bless you—this was right on time.”
-“Thank you for all of your hard work.”
- But it wasn’t just those on the receiving end who were moved. The FOFMI team and Interfaith University left just as blessed as those they came to serve. There was a deep sense of fulfillment in every hand extended, every smile exchanged, ad nevery life touched.
The day’s success reaffirmed a powerful truth we are not just called to be blessed—we are blessed to be a blessing. And in that spirit, both organizations are already preparing for their next outreach, eager to continue the mission—serving with love, dignity, and humility.
