Course Description

This graduate-level ministry course provides a focused study of the Holy Scriptures, along with practical and theoretical issues faced by church leaders. It emphasizes the advancement of the Kingdom of God and addresses key leadership challenges.

The Master of Youth Ministries degree is awarded upon completion of advanced coursework aimed at equipping individuals to work effectively with youth. Topics include youth development, evangelism, and preparing young people for their life’s purpose, building on concepts from the bachelor level. A thesis is required to complete this program.

Course Goals and Objectives

The course focuses on preparing students to become proficient ministers and leaders by addressing a blend of ministry philosophy and practical leadership challenges. By the end of this course, students are expected to:

  • Develop an understanding of Christian principles, motives, and behaviors.
  • Improve teaching effectiveness through clarity, immediacy, and communication style.
  • Transition from theoretical knowledge to practical application.
  • Gain a deep, reflective understanding of ministerial identity.
  • Build a strong teaching approach that aligns with ministry goals.
