About the Course
This course focuses on ministry, exploring the Holy Scriptures, practical and theoretical challenges faced by Christ’s disciples in the church, and advancing God’s Kingdom. Successful completion earns a diploma in Biblical Counseling, equipping students to counsel from a Christian perspective and share God’s wisdom.

Course Goals and Objectives

- Dake,F. God's Plan for Man: Providence: God's Plan for the Needs of Man pg. 166-178 Throughout nearly sixty years of ministry, Finis Jennings Dake passionately pursued the literal truth of Scripture. He systematically discusses the nature of the Bible, principles of biblical interpretation. While some of His teachings may not sit well with some, there are powerful truths that can be gleaned. When it comes to this subject he gives a thorough account.
Course Overview
Course Policies
- Attendance and Participation: Active participation is required. Missed classes may result in a half-letter grade deduction. Online versions may be offered.
- Work Submission:
- Assignments must follow formatting guidelines (typed, double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman, 1-inch margins).
- A 48-hour extension is offered for all assignments except weekly discussions. Late submissions beyond this will receive a zero.
- Behavior: Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will be referred to administration.
- Cheating/Plagiarism: Academic dishonesty will result in penalties ranging from zero on the assignment to course failure.

Assignments
- Discussion Questions (30%)
- Respond to weekly discussion prompts. Quiz responses may count toward this grade.
- Due: Weekly on Tuesdays by 9 PM. Submit via email to interfaithu.help@gmail.com.
- Course and Assignment Development (20%)
- Design a syllabus, two major assignments, and a detailed lesson for a future course. Include lecture materials, activities, exam questions, and references.
- Blog and Participation (20%)
- Post a minimum of 5 blog entries, one per week, related to class discussions.
- Final Post Deadline: March 10th or October 10th (depending on graduation date).
- Final Paper (30%)
- Write a 13–15 page paper outlining your ministry philosophy. Include at least eight course readings and conduct outside research for the best grade.
- Due: 30 days before graduation.
Note on Grading
- Extra credit will not be offered.
- All work must follow APA formatting guidelines.
